Case Study

Popl approached Slicedbread when the e-commerce company looked to accelerate their monthly online revenue and grow their digital presence. With an established paid ad presence on Google Ads, Popl was looking to refine audience targeting, optimize campaign set up, and scale revenue on the platform. In addition, they looked to optimize their recently introduced Facebook Ads account and scale in the paid social media space–similar to the successful scaling they were seeing on Google Ads. Brand new to paid social, Slicedbread was able to grow revenue by 43% compared to running the platform in-house. Below is a list of the services provided along with a summary of the strategy and approach for each of those services.

META Advertising: We exclusively used video content to affinity audiences in the professional and entrepreneurial space including, but limited to: Real Estate Development, Business and Finance (Industries), Real Estate Broker (Jobs), Business Page Admins, Arts, Entertainment, Sports and Media, Cleaning, Maintenance Services, Installation, and Repair Services (industry). The video creative was purposely used to demonstrate the ease of using innovative digital business cards, rather than use static imagery where users may not receive the full insight to its benefits. Here are the results:

  • META Purchases Growth: +85%

Tik-Tok Advertising: With an existing profitable platform, I focused our efforts on creating granularity in existing audiences and campaign structure. I first looked to eliminate wasteful spend in keywords, ad groups, and inefficient campaign types that were not serving directly to the marketing funnel. Here are the results:
